Flower Care Tips and Guide

Clean the vase regularly
Protecting your flowers from viruses and all types of dirt, starts from ensuring that your flower vase is clean. And when we say clean, it must be really clean. To get this assurance, check if the flower vase is dry. Viruses hold on to damp areas, so never leave your vase wet after cleaning. Use clean and warm water in cleaning every surface of the vase. It would be better if you can check for more than two times, so you will be able to inspect every surface of the vase.
Cut stems every 2 to 3 days
Cutting the stems of your flowers is another step so you can ensure that your flower will grow beautifully. Around 1 to 2 inches should be removed from the stem, every 2 to 3 days. Use a sharp knife to do it properly. When in doubt, consult someone who is an expert on this. Cutting stems from your flowers facilitate quick water absorption which is significant in the growth of flowers.
Change water regularly
Flowers need to drink water in order to grow. But we also need to bear in mind that flowers need clean water so they can grow and bloom. Throughout the day, you have to change the water in the flower vase from 2 to 3 times. Dirty water will impede the growth of your flowers, so changing the water regularly is very important.
Put your flowers away from direct sunlight
Sun rays are not good for flowers. They don’t like too much heat, so it is better if you place your flowers in an area where there is no direct sunlight. Place your flowers in an area where it can breathe freely. The best place for your flowers to live is in a space where there is a good room temperature. It may be in your backyard where there is enough shade, or inside your house where it’s not too hot, nor too cold.
Keep your flowers away from toxic materials
If you want your flowers to stay healthy, you must put it far from toxic materials like cigarettes, fumes, and radiations. Poisonous substances can definitely cause harm to your flowers, so find a place where your blooms can grow without any destruction. Placing the flowers along with other plants is a good idea. The place must not be too shady and not too cold also. Before placing your flowers anywhere, check first if there are harmful chemicals around. If you find any of these substances, transfer your flowers right away.
Cut leaves
You have to check if the lower leaves have already been cut off. It is important to ensure that your flowers will bloom beautifully. Dried leaves must be removed in the water. Lower and dried leaves are not necessary anymore, so you can cut it out before you put back the flowers in the vase with clean water.

Cutting the leaves of your flowers is a necessary step to ensure that your flowers will grow quickly. This is why it’s imperative to check regularly if the leaves are cut properly.
